The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford 2007
Watching this with a Q&A from James and Roger Deakins themselves was surreal. Getting to ask Roger Deakins a question was a core memory. Seeing such gorgeous work projected on 35mm right after was the cherry on top.
