  I dont know what people are talking about the movie being subpar or disappointing unless you read the book (which i doubt a chunk of people ive seen saying this have) it was a fun fucking movie. It’s actually kind of pissing me off. Novocaine gets high praise for doing the bare minimum action movie subversion garbage but Mickey was disappointing?

  Weird ass movie….???;)& I felt like it was making an effort to be funny but A) it wasn’t funny enough and B) it took itself too seriously. It was at its best when jack quaid was getting hit with cartoonish weaponry and they should have just gone completely ridiculous with the story. Everyone sounded like they were reading from a marvel script. I think they were trying to be a little feminist with it but it doesnt work because at the end of the day the plot is still bog standard action movie slop
