  I just did not like a lot of things about this movie. I didn't like how the horizontal bars would totally fuck up the compositions and we'd be looking at only the bottom half of a character's face, I didn't like the editing choices, etc etc. This movie that reminded me how much I hate 2010's "Mockumentary" Satirical Comedy films where characters break the fourth wall for no reason.   I've watched many erotic narratives that play with power and infidelity. This one was the unsexiest version of it.

  The male "love interest" isn't charming, isn't particularly attractive, his relationship with Romy isn't tantilizing or with high stakes either. They don't have any narrative build up, it's the classic man meets woman story where they could look at each other and we'd expect them to be in love.

  Zero chemistry in this movie and nothing even changes by the end of watching it. BORINGGGG.

  The content in this movie is really tough to watch. I'm glad I could stick through it, and I can appreciate the unbreaking protagonist against all odds kind of narrative, I just personally think... there needed to be some more thought when crafting a very tragic story like this. Especially when the main character is a fat dark skinned black girl.
