so very beautiful. so very hard to watch.
the drug use was the hardest part for me. relentlessly harrowing. glad I saw it but I won't watch it again.
also- the ending??? felt cheap
soundtrack did a lot of heavy lifting. sometimes unnecessarily so. an atmosphere of dis ease. always waiting for the other shoe to drop. but that feeling of apprehension is suspended. so you're always kind of falling. dread.

Watched this w mom and lee at lincoln center. The sound during the commercialsnwas so loud it scared me. I wondered about my hearing loss and wondered if i wasnt lowkey aut-y. Honestly i liked this movie and loved the sets. Wasnt that moved by the plot. There was too much going on the plit felt a bit secondary. I think its more about the characters, establishing the characters, and letting you arrive at the intimation of a story. Theyre in waiting. There is no journey. Its just about people in an invetween.
