  I mean, I stuck this on so I could do some admin during a background rewatch… doesn’t particularly stay in the background for long.

  Christ it’s even worse when you know how it goes down. It’s just such a miserable film, and the one ray of light is Pitt x Paltrow. So so peak.

  An absolute Phwoah-film.

  Nb: Thought to myself ‘must watch more Fincher’. Turns out I’ve watched every single feature film, and also raised this on my last review of him, weird.

  Irish Snatch. Great watch, though would be a far better film if it wasn’t in fucking Bruges. Why Bruges?

  It gets off to a really good start, I think I burnt through the first 4 episodes all in one sitting. Loses its magic a little around the mid-season, when The Jackal starts floundering a bit, but finishes strong. Will be tuning in for S2.

  It’s one of those where you route for the ‘bad’ guy from the off, a bit like Zac Efron’s Ted Bundy (disclaimer: not the real Ted Bundy), and that’s all down to Mr Redmayne.…

  ‘Tell me about it, stud’

  Yes it is my first watch, yes I did very much enjoy it.

  Bit of a fever dream to be honest, didn’t know where to look for most of the film.
