Good movie, but felt a missing ingredient/piece/scene that would have been culmination of everything that came before.

Definitely not the ideal movie to watch in three separate sittings over the course of three days. Robbed myself of any immersion. Could’ve been a knock out, but instead saw the shadow of some kind of punch coming. Left feeling manipulated without reason, maybe even cruelly.
Crazy slick of DV to use the audience’s intelligence against themselves by allowing us to know a few details more than the children do about their origin. This illusion allows the ultimate truth to arrive like a freight train hitting a brick wall.
