Unfortunately, there's many things that do not work on this film. It feels as though there's maybe a 3 hour version of this movie and this is whatever parts worked best... which in turn makes it feel like so many unfinished thoughts and explorations.
I'm having a hard time resonating or believing Ayo's performances really on any of her projects.
All the "kills/deaths" feel so under written and under directed. But it's really the writing that fails the entire film.
I do think in world full of movie slop, this movie has been unfairly over trashed by critics

Uh... that ending ruined the whole film.
"Aw look how broken she is" the Anora that you built up the whole movie had so much agency and power and then at the end... you stripped her of this. She is smarter than what this film makes her out to be. It's insulting to the character and to the movie.
Funnier than most movies this year tho!
