Bava doing Bava (including Daddy Bava) stuff that’s dipped in a little Evil Dead (featuring a very Bruce Campbell lead). Only problem is that it seemingly goes on for a week. But I was never not entertained.

The three hour version woulda probably been great.
The six hour version probably woulda been great.
It’s not new to say that the stories based on King works about decaying towns and communities just need that room to breathe.
That said, this has the common decency to have a good fuckin time and the cast nails it.
The crowd actively laughed when “MAX Original” popped up at the front so that was nice too.
