  this is my first time watching spirited away in like 10 years and i don’t remember it being this good?? and yubaba isn’t as scary as i remembered her to be, i rmbr being so traumatized by her as a child 

  i think i’m gonna go on a ghibli rewatch binge now cause i have a feeling that younger me wasn’t mentally equipped enough to appreciate them properly </3

  i definitely underestimated this movie — there were so many scenes that kept me on my toes, pretty much all the characters were likable, and they did very well with the cgi and all that stuff considering that this was made decades ago

  this movie did everything just right, not too much or too little of anything, and i think that it ended off in a really good way; i don’t think i’ll be watching any of the sequels because…
