  I feel that a lot of people won't like this for its ambiguity, but it was great. It was thought provoking, imaginative, and a little melancholy. I enjoyed the suspense, the long standing question of "is he mad"?, and I don't hate that it was open ended. Cool film.

  The combination of Farrel and Gleeson will never be a bad idea. Their dynamic is an endless buffet of visual comedy, whit, and dark humour.

  A few lines in the film were a bit much. Didn't add much to the characters or film, and took me out of it a bit.

  Romance sub plot was silly, but added nice depth to Raymond.

  I like that there was an effective balance of humour and well written story. I was always unsure…

  A strangely slow paced film for the overall impact. Gosling plays unusual characters very well. I enjoyed the grittiness of it, the soft moments for an otherwise rough character. Excellent cast, and the cinematography is lovely.

  This was a fun watch. I enjoyed reading about the history behind it all. Very wacky, very gay, very peculiar. Not a bad film at all, but nothing extraordinary.
