  Thelma was my first film at Sundance 2024 online and it was such an utter delight. Apparently inspired by the filmmaker’s grandma, this is ultimately a story about coming of age, whether that age is young or old. It’s coming to terms with your place in life, but also realizing that you are often the thing that’s holding you back. 

  Do you not have many friends? Get out and make some. Do you not feel capable? Try until you succeed…
