A movie that is just annoying.
Dialogs that are so cliche, they're just annoying. Characters that have near to no chemistry with each other and are just annoying. Screaming at each other over and over again - which is just annoying when there is no noticeable relationship from which such anger and passion could evolve. I really felt touched and inspired after watching this great documentary and you can tell that there's a lot of love inside it.

I didn't expect such a serious film when seeing the fantastic Steve Zissou and his crew in the trailer and on the cover photo.
It feels really lightweight and has it's special humor, but for me it couldn't hide the serious topic of fatherhood, responsibility and regret in life - it's rather the opposite: It carries and wraps this topic in the same kind of cynicism (and (subtle) bitterness?) as we might approach it in life. Followed by a wonderful…
