let me preface this with “i do not like biopics”. to me there is nothing more exhausting than cutesy, curated moments for fans and admirers of the subject. that being said, a complete unknown did an excellent job of avoiding that trap (like a rolling stone scene notwithstanding).

loved everyone’s performance. i thought it told a concise story of dylan and sought to make a case for him going electric. chalamet makes a good case for actor but i don’t think this is close to best pic. well done though

adam, honey, i’m gonna hold your hand when i say this. this was without a doubt the worst movie i’ve seen to date. i can’t tell if you were trolling us or if you signed in believing this would be good. i really wish i could have watched it with you, just to get your insight, maybe fill in the enormous plot holes for me.

i don’t understand how this movie cost what it did, why there was absolutely no development, no script, no actors. just cgi dinosaurs, testicle grenades, and an asteroid.

    balls, absolute balls

it’s very cute and that works at times but not others. the pacing was great and the casting was excellent, but there are a lot of overt clues telling you who everyone is without saying explicitly. Nicholas Braun as Kaufman AND Henson was a highlight.
