Downsizing 2017
There was so much potential for plots and interesting avenues to explore and the movie did nothing with it. I can’t fault the acting, although it was certainly not their best film and I’m sure the actors would rather forget this addition to their resume. The movie didn’t know what it wanted to do, like a dog chasing a car only to realize it wouldn’t know what to do once it catches it. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this waste of time. Unless you like pointless male nudity and a plot that goes nowhere, then maybe give it a watch.

This film captivated me from the moment it started rolling. Never have I had a staring contest with the big screen until this film. What Scorsese made with this film is something that should be studied, both in terms of cinematography and storytelling.
