I was ready for this to be a wattpad like fanfic that romanticized abuse but it ended up being a pretty intelligent view on such a complex situation. It covers a lot of ideas about love and trauma and how you can overlook abuse. It does a really interesting thing where for the first half we see things through Lily’s masked view and then it’s revealed how she’s been making excuses for Ryle the whole time. Worth a watch
