  The only thing salvaging this movie is it's cinematography, which at times compensates for the weak narrative and events unfolded in this film.
  The movie doesn't offer a sense of depth, and it was often monotonous, with never-ending sex scenes. The boring sex scenes are somewhat compensated by the decently raw and delicate portrait of it's eroticism, which, accompanied by it's warm colors, alleviate the spectator from their chaotic lives.

  CELEBRATING DAVID LYNCH

  So meticulously, psychologically elaborated. A stupendous voyage through the unconscious and duality. Lynch is just too great of a filmmaker. I think his painting roots had a definite role here. The takes are a painter's work in it's composition.

  Now it's dark...

  Deeply unsettled about Lynch's passing, yet so grateful he lives on. Here. In me. In you. Somewhere else... somewhere the continuum goes.
