My First Film 2024
Thought for a second that it was gonna become a Mulitlltimedia Project kinda movie and I was mortified but it mostly abandons it. I liked the small town hangout/burnout stuff a lot, especially as it applies to upstate New York. The redneck townie equivalent is, as a midwesterner, such an idiosyncratic element in this setting (but in a good way). Anyway the lost-movie-as-abortion throughline made me feel like I was in art school again (but in a bad way).
