  John Malkovich and Ayo Edebiri are good, production design is solid, has a good climax.

  Honestly, everything is an inferior retread of films like The Menu and The Invitation. Not terrible, but nothing spectacular.

  Incredibly atmospheric, somewhat evocative of Gus Van Sant's Gerry.

  I resonated heavily with the relationship between Cameron and Dylan. It expertly captures the awkward conflict that most atheists have to deal with when interacting with religious people. Where Cameron really doesn't wanna engage with Dylan's religious shit, but she also doesn't want to be an asshole and insult her beliefs. At the same time, you also feel sympathy for Dylan, as well. An emotionally vulnerable recovering addict that tragically latches…

  Starts relatively grounded, if sleazy, but then becomes a descent into anxiety driven hell. So upset that I didn't get to see this in theaters.
