  Picking a new head of God’s PTA by gossip in the best dresses.

  But for real, a beautifully shot film that points at a revelry for the static in a world moving. Acting is spectacular, with everything held tight to the characters’ chest and only fleeting moments of their inner hearts. 

  A very quiet film, made of moments and not movement, layered with introspection.

  Slow in a way that’s as methodical as the main character. Everyone knows exactly what they’re doing the whole time, until they absolutely don’t. Easy to look away, but if you do, you’ll miss the sociopathy. Stellar.

  The story is basically murder murder sad murder sad sad sad toil murder murder sad patience sad patience sad murder. 

  You feel, and root, for this antihero who never becomes fully whole, while simultaneously wishing that there was some goodness abound in the film. He is your leader where he has no king and father and you follow him with closeness and brutality. Goodness is not available here, survival reigns.
