  This movie is beautiful to look at, but the script is severely lacking and most of the acting was short and bland. While it felt similar to other iterations, they could have added musical numbers, lengthened scenes, or even gave us flashbacks. I don’t think I’ll watch it again.

  The moments of the film where the two main characters were getting to know each other were really sweet. The parents were all completely cringeworthy and over the top.
