Gladiator II 2024
liked this a lot more than its predecessor. i think i definitely watched some chinese martial arts show at my granny's before the first Gladiator so it left me pretty whelmed. but i thought the action was so much better, i somehow keep thinking of heavy armour from the first.
i think what's missing here is perhaps the drama. i think i remembered elements of betrayal and it did feel heavier in the first. i think this one's pretty light…
