  This is one film that is unlike any others i’ve ever seen. It presents itself as your typical horror romcom at the beginning. Laura is an actress that has been dumped by her boyfriend after being diagnosed with cancer. Later she moves back into her childhood home and meets “Monster” during her fit of depression. Self pity is thrown out when Laura begins a journey of learning what it means to stand up for herself. She finds validation, self love…

  A wonderful fantasy action flick that I can always go back to with not a single issue. I feel like this movie isn’t for everyone but if you get it you get it. If you’re super into beautiful women kicking the ever living shit out people you’ll enjoy this. Casting was perfect too Oscar Isaac and Emily Browning killed it in this. One of my faves for sure.

  This movie is so fun and did such a great job of balancing horror, and romantic comedy. The heart eyed killer was iconic and there was such a lighthearted fun vibe about this movie. The killer reveal and motive was also an interesting take. This movie felt like a mix between My Bloody Valentine meets Friday the 13th. My only issue with it was i wish it had more of a brutal nature to it bc im a gore fan. but like very mild issue. Perf date night movie for Valentine’s day!

  This is one of my favorite horror rom coms i have to add it on here. Kathryn Newton is brilliant as a weirdo goth baddie. I love the 80’s element that this movie brings. Vibrant colors, theatrics, comedy, there’s not a single moment where you don’t find yourself immersed in this one. The perfect date night movie :3
