didn’t like Japanese people being the backdrop for these two white protagonists, didn’t like the racist jokes, didn’t like the very uncomfortable age gap. thought the movie was pretty and that it encapsulated loneliness well. the world seems to be moving around you and you feel like you aren’t apart of it at all.

Look into someone’s purse and you catch a glimpse at the things that are important to them. A stack of newspapers, gloves, car keys.. a puppy? Who’s to say these things hold the same significance to you but the thrill is there all the same.
