Incredibly gruesome and unapologetically disturbing, A Serbian Film will certainly upset most audiences. While stomach-churning to say the least, the cast (particularly Srđan Todorović) deliver outstanding performances, believable and heartbreaking, making the film all the more horrific to watch. Although I do not plan on watching it again, at least not anytime soon, I will say it is an impressive film within its genre. A Simple Wish 1997
Loved this movie as a kid…can’t say it held up. Kathleen Turner steals the show, as usual, but there’s not much to compete with. Sometimes you outgrow a movie. That said, kids will continue to enjoy it - even with the painfully dated special effects.
