    I'm very skeptical of most if not all things paranormal, and yet I absolutely love listening to people share their ghost, UFO and other such spooky stories. It creeps me out in a way most movies don't because there is that element of earnest, personal authenticity to their telling—and it doesn't hurt that they're most often told at night, around a fire or the glow of a signed-off television channel. For me, this was a cozy and eerie bedtime story that I could zone out to.
