Very good film with a bit of heart, a bit of melancholy, and a bit of whimsy. Burt Lancaster is a CEO of major Houston-based oil company who sends someone to purchase a remote Scottish town to house a refinery as well as to check on stellar activity. A very good film.

When our retired German first hears Zydeco--a blast. When our visiting German drops his robe to enter hot tub at Eidelweiss Inn in New Braunfels--a gasp. It's a fun character study, but the pacing is very, very slow.
