  not only am i in awe over the subject matter - these two young boys that fought tooth and nail for what they dreamed of on divulging paths - but i also can't stress just how impressive the entire documentary is. to follow these boys for their high school career, showing all their struggles and successes, and highlighting their families around them was just so beautiful. what a feat of cinema!

  i did not remember the religious regime hesitant to change storyline being so prominent. but that's not important because i realized norma jean - yes norma jean, mumble the penguin's emperor penguin mother - was my first mini gay awakening. always thought it was the white witch in narnia but nope. it was an animated penguin with boobs. that's crazy. this movie kicks fucking ass.
