  I might be a bit biased here (a certain four-legged voice actor in this movie is my sister’s pup), but this movie is a blast! It’s hyperactive but never obnoxious, absolutely bursting at the seams with style and creativity (think Spider-Verse but memes instead of comic books). It’s got a genuine and heartfelt center amidst the (legitimately funny) jokes and explosions, one that’s lifted up by a committed voice cast. It even represents a positive (albeit flawed) step forward in LGBTQ+ representation in kids’ movies. This will undoubtedly be one of the better animated films you watch this year. Go see it!
