Directing in this was a standout for me. The choice of shots throughout the movie was incredible, particularly how grotesque they made the producer and so quickly.
Not a fan of needles, so I was never really gonna love this one but oh my god the ending was fucking awful. If it has ended after she saw herself after taking the substance for the second time then I would've given it more credit for the screenplay, foreshadowing, and directorial choices but that absurdist ending just completely ruins the movie for me.

Call me crazy but I actually think it was really good. A bizarre story don't get me wrong; and there are quarrels to be had with the casting and *that* song, but generally the story was enticing, it was excellently shot, and the music interwoven throughout was creative and catchy. Imo it should never win over a wicked song for best song but I don't see why it's so hated.
Could've been 4.5 stars honestly but for some bizarre dialogue…
