This film's success relies almost entirely on whether or not the key scene in the beginning twenty minutes of the film is sufficiently intense, traumatic, and shocking. It is. It is a totally mesmerizing, haunting scene. It made me feel sick, horrified, and devastated. So of course, I believed all those feelings later in Lisa.

this was fun! I think Black Mirror should definitely lean into comedy a bit more often than they do, because it really works on levels like this. Hayek and Murphy are so much fun in scenes together and the twist works great and is really well-justified in the world of the show. a very fun ride <3
