  Beautiful film and story. Not dissimilar to other movies I’ve seen recently like 18X2, different enough to enjoy it and feel surprised through out. Gorgeous set design in this film. The acting is terrific. Watched it in chunks but was sucked in each time. It’s very slow but beautiful.

  Knocked it down a star since we all walked out (in a fairly large group), mostly complexed by the ending. And not in a good way, at least not for me. The ending was hard to absorb and felt like a school lecture. I feel strongly there were so many better ways to end a 3 hour film. Come on. Other than that, the film was good! The acting was stellar.   Excellent story and characters. Accurate description of two very different people travelling together and the exposure to one another’s quirks. Could not get Zack galifinakis out of my head watching Culkin in this film. Acts and sounds like him, to a tee.
