  Corny as all get out. Boring performances and weird casting choices. Sam Worthington delivers at least 5 lines where I audibly laughed. Vince Vaughn is basically just Vince Vaughn. Garfield is good. Soundtrack was bland and forgettable, classic triumphant and heroic boxes checked but nothing that I found memorable. CGI was distracting at times, but I guess for a project or this scale 40mil is a modest budget. First battle scene jump scare scene was also laughably bad. The battle set pieces were interesting visually, but there are far better WWII movies and series' (see Band of Brothers).

  Meh. Drone shots were cool. Danny is a super confusing character who’s motivations keep changing and constantly shifts between angry, goofy, calm, and manic throughout the movie— seemingly for no real reason.

  I didn’t think I’d like this movie, but I did. It was awesome. Fun and creative action, fast paced, great fight choreography, meaningful reincorporations, solid comedic timing, and lots of satisfying kills. David Harbour is loads of fun too.

Following
