Went into this screening knowing nothing. Interesting subject matter with John Malkovich carrying us along the way. It’s a Willy Wonka meets Kanye West’s Waco ranch.
- exciting lead up, building the world, and giving us a back story to connect to. This included elements of nyc editorial world, which the director has a great understanding of. It was fun!
- As an ensemble cast, there wasn’t enough interaction, big personas just standing on frame waiting for their filler lines.…

Truly surprised by this film! So many of the jokes about the Iraq war and our military industrial complex landed well and felt genuinely connected to the people. Its depiction of nihilism within government management is hilarious.
So many of the bits and jokes could have been so poorly executed, it’s a testament to good direction, acting and writing to accomplish this. I’m impressed!
