  fantastic as a straight sci fi flick... but do find it sorta disappointing as a bong joon ho movie. satire doesn't really work imo but still super enjoyable and would love to see 20 more movies like this!

  hell of a good time at the movies. when the tension really ratchets up somewhere in the second act, there is a really great balancing act of tension and humor (this movie is VERY funny) that also manages to hold a hell of a lot of emotion bubbling under the surface, making for a rather unforgettable and poignant ending

  i don't really think any of this movie really holds much water in its messaging or overall plotting but I can't help but enjoy the imagery and a handful of scenes. but a lot is bad too. very mixed bag but I respect it
