Released in 2013, ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’ was directed by Martin Scorsese and based on the biography of billionaire Jordan Belfort. Starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Jonah Hill and Jon Bernthal. This film couldn’t really go wrong. But being three hours long this film could’ve dragged a lot, but I’m glad to say it didn’t at all. I wasn’t bored at all and to be honest I couldn’t get enough of it. Midsommar 2019
Midsommar was released in 2019 and was written and directed by Ari Aster. This film stars Florence Pugh, Will Poulter, Jack Reynor and William Jackson Harper. I was extremely excited for this film as I’d seen Hereditary (2018) prior to this and absolutely loved it. But I have to say from seeing this I was a bit disappointed as it definitely didn’t better hereditary or even come close to being as good.
