  Though celebrities are perceived as larger than life, Cooper reminds us they are humans with real emotions, dreams, and flaws like the rest of us.  A Star is Born tells an incredibly raw and real love story that grapples with complex themes of addiction, artistry, and commitment.

  Cooper has made melodrama accessible - and that is a credit to the script as the dialogue is so natural that at times it almost feels like watching a documentary.  And elevating that script…
