Flying Horse
This has been in production for years, so I'm curious to see how it turns out. It's also been superseded by Kyle Rideout's biopic 'Eadweard' (2015).
It's worth noting that Bill Douglas wrote a screenplay about Eadweard Muybridge in the 1980s, also called 'Flying Horse'. I'm fairly certain that Gary Oldman's people have read it. It would be a shame if Douglas was not credited in any way.

Almost Heaven 2017
I suppose it's to this film's credit that I couldn't work out what was authentically captured, and what was narrativised for the camera or in the edit. It feels, paradoxically, too studiedly naturalistic to be a documentary, and too perfectly paced and structured to be anything other than a fictionalised encapsulation of many truths facing young people in China.
