Really loved this, the usual incredible dialogue direction that I can’t get enough of. The weird boots freaked me out a bit but it was genuinely hilarious (and wholesome), a real film of its eras comedy.
Also just a fantastic travel movie! Seeing those American states in their wonderful banality and roadhouses and rest stops and all the people hanging around. Listening to teasers of the type of music making it in America. Truly a lovely experience.
