Team cinema, fuck yea, not dead
I stand with the movie politically and am happy it’s popular for strictly political reasons. I’m team women being able to learn and not forced to wear a hijab, freedom of speech ect. the film itself has the aesthetics mediocre Hollywood film for most of the movie and it ends with a scooby-doo chase sequence. Im sure Pahani is super conflicted about this film. Cannes special jury prize?! Couldn’t possibly be for the filmmaking.
