  New Favourite! I’ll skip the obvious bits of a Mike Leigh review like how insanely good the acting is (but this is an all timer on that front). Gorgeously photographed, works as a beautiful time capsule for mid 00s London (Britain at it’s best I think we can all agree). Definitely my favourite score in a Mike Leigh picture, kind of obsessed with it, every movie should have a score like this. Believe it or not, this is Mike Leigh’s most cinematic film. Will I elaborate on that? No.

  If you hated the ending you probably just needed to pee or something I dunno. The ending made the film for me. But I guess god just made me more special and smarter than all of you.
