Napoleon Dynamite 2004
Watched this with Kate who told me she thought Napoleon would be the perfect suitor for me. Anyway, I love this movie still and am glad that it was made so that 14 year old me could revel in its quirks.

It was alright. Thought the storytelling was poor. Also just got bored of the close ups of Timmy. Oh and I couldn’t see Bobby just saw Timmy. Some of the singing was nice I guess.

I've been meaning to watch this film literally all of my life. Ever since my mum told me it was the first movie to be filmed only in natural/candle light. So thank you for this opportunity storm eowyn. Fascinating to kid me who fancied themselves as a film buff age 14!

Hard Truths 2024
Had to walk out of the ifi really fast at the end before the lights came on so no one could see how much I was crying. What was the deal with the girl next to me who couldn’t stop laughing. That was even more harrowing than the film.
