The Gutter 2024
Started as a movie I was worried would be half a star or one star but grew on me as time went on. Basically throws 10 jokes a minute in and a ton don’t hit, but eventually a good amount do hit and you’re like “eh not the worst movie I’ve seen”.
D’Arcy Carden does a lot of heavy lifting and Susan Sarandon is game for this. The Paul Reiser stuff with his network sets up some funny bits too. Not too bad I guess.

I don’t think Sadie Sink’s character and Kelvin Harrison Jr’s characters would be very interested in each other.
Sadie Sink is innocent and actually can sing quite well; she somehow puts in a good performance in one of the shittiest movies you’ll see this year.

Let me first just say thank goodness the “twist” isn’t that they’re eating humans. That is so boring and played out nowadays.
Secondly, this movie is absolutely unhinged and a great time making fun of the Uber rich/pretentious. We all know someone who is annoying about food.
Finally, this doesn’t work without Ralph Fiennes. Once again great at being intimidating as he is in most of his roles but is also very strange in this as well. When he quoted MLK I lost my shit

Hard to even review this without going like “wow remember when this cool thing happened? Then THIS sick thing happened? But then they did THAT and it was awesome too”
Great action movie that’s elevated by just making every part of it stylized as possible. A great end(?) to one of the most fun franchises of the 21st century
