  Here’s an unoriginal take: this is a great movie. It is a fascinating way to discuss American greed. The genius of PTA’s storytelling is how he shows without telling. It keeps an audience glued through what is an objectively long run time. He lays out the ending before we ever get the chance to realize it. I’m not sure anyone is as good at anything as Daniel Day Lewis is at acting. Even if that’s hyperbole, the man is a master at his craft. I know this was out of the purview of the story, but I would have liked to have more HW involvement.
