  Absolutely my shit. 70s cabin fever madness that’s just the right amount of weird. The story isn’t particularly groundbreaking but the execution of everything more than makes up for it. Love that Minnesota winter setting.

  Eggers delivers again! He was born to make this movie. Thrusting the character of Ellen into the spotlight from the get go gives us a fresh perspective on the vampire classic. She’s almost a tragic figure that was born in the wrong time, unable to be satisfied or pleased by anything in the 19th century.
