Very hypnotic though I hoped to be in tune with some character’s p.o.v. at least the alien if not the humans, but no :c
A gentle reminder that we are not alone in this: within illness as catalyzing cathartic occasion, for when water will 'purify' us from the disease and we won't be turned to stone... Hoping our brains will stop being like chips and computers, but more free for ?the next chapter? ⁓if it's really a dream
Maybe this really is his goodbye movie and anyway I feel immensely content with it. There's no surprise about how Miyazaki can still give us a moving, inspiring and poetic journey through the underworld, rooted in the immense collective unconsciousness that connects us all as human beings. Death will come for all of us, but what's really important is what are we doing with love and life?
