The soundtrack alone is still as bone chilling as the first time I heard it watching this film. It enhances the viewing experience so much and it's kinda everything, as is the cinematography and the story. Oh and Gosling too. Because duh, who doesn't love the Canadian King! A shame some of Refn's other projects don't have nearly the substance of Drive (cough Only God Forgives and The *Ugly* Demon cough).
What is there to say that hasn't been said? It tries to capitalize on the same formula used in Drive but fails miserably. Revels in its own pretentious thought. Very style over substance, gorgeous cinematography withstanding. If Halsey were a film it'd be this.
