The imagery is Conclave's best aspect and its cinematography is not even nominated for an oscar. While on the topic, as much as I love Anora and very happy for their best picture win, I can't believe they won over some "oscar-bait" films like this or The Brutalist.
Oscar bait or not, Conclave is absolutely fantastic. A game of thrones in the Catholic Church is something I didn't know I need.
No words can describe my love for Interstellar and how much it has affected my life since I first watched it in 2020. I've watched it annually since then, and for my sixth viewing, this rewatch is a very special one. Watching it in IMAX was probably the best cinema experience I will ever have in my lifetime.

I was an MCU fanboy at school but now I don't like their projects and what they're doing in the film industry. Cash grabbing, thoughtless, emotionless films or shows isn't what I want from Marvel. I also don't think cameos or sneak-peak scenes for another sequel or EVERY SINGLE DIALOGUE BEING A REFERENCE TO SOMETHING is the way to write a movie, but that seems like the way to get into the box office nowadays.

Rewatching this in 4k was absolutely needed. Dunkirk might have the best cinematography out of a Nolan film and that says a lot. Thought it was wild when I found this didn't win Best Cinematography in the Oscars 'til I found out who actually won it that year. My eyes were treated with so many beautiful imagery but those that captured the terror of war. Nolan's most underrated film by a mile and one of my favourites now as I've almost rewatched all of them again.
