I really liked this movie!
Nicole Kidman was amazing and hilarious as Suzanne and loved watching everyone’s reactions to her including 90s stalwart Wayne Knight in one of my favorite roles in the whole movie as Ed. Let’s get him doing more stuff! The three teens all do a great job but huge shoutout to Allison Folland as Lydia. I would have wanted to be her friend so bad in high school.

Solid as hell picture!
The tone, setting and characters clicked with me immediately. I really need to watch more Harry Dean Stanton vehicles also, i’ll watch that guy do anything.
The last 20 minutes or so i was RIVETED. The ending was great and to me, very satisfying. I’m sorry but there are few people i wouldn’t leave to enter an alien time machine.
An ENDLESSLY quotable film, i’ve loved it since childhood. I think of it every time the words ‘tequila’, ‘plethora’, ‘veranda’, and ‘buttercup’ are spoken.

This was great! Has a couple “serious” moments but they don’t feel too cloying, the bumor is age appropriate without being too juvenile, all the climactic moments and Sonic lore infusions got me excited, ADAM PALLY, NATASHA ROTHWELL, it was a fun time!
And that’s not even to mention Jim Carrey’s pretty pitch perfect Robotnik performance. I also just always love to see Michael Hogan in stuff.
