  Loved the first ten minutes of this insanity. Then hated the first two thirds of it, but he got me in the last act with the unexpected kamehameha. For some reason the ending really reminded me of the end of Wild at Heart.

  A heterosexual film by Greg Araki! Campy, stylish, over the top gore, Heaven and Hell imagery, Rose McGowan’s perfect little chin dimple, homoerotic competition over a woman… this movie had it all.

  It’s a little silly but better for its silliness. The cool kid 90’s dialogue did not age well, but I couldn’t get enough of the visuals. Great sets, great costumes, great shots in almost every scene. And all the leads are gorgeous. They’re flat and a bit archetypal…
