Boy was I WRONG about this movie the first time I watched it. What an amazing second viewing experience (shoutout Oliver and Luca). It’s really incredible what seeing a movie like this with fresh eyes, an open mind, attention to the smallest detail, and an appreciation for the atmosphere of unease…. created.

I have so much love for this movie and every single one of these beautiful characters. Some words that are on my mind right now: eclectic, beautiful, intricate, soft.
A lot of the pacing didn’t work for me, and I wish there was more of a substantive plot, but it pulled every single emotional string that there is in my heart. Mike Mills is a master of the sad, comfort movie that makes you cry yet poses very little emotional turmoil.

When Rhodey pops out after watching Tony and Pepper kiss for like 20 seconds while they’re clearly having an intimate moment just to make a stupid fucking pun….. I laugh-cringed so hard that I catapulted into a fetal position, threw myself across the bed, and smacked my head really fucking hard against the bedpost. My head hurts and Justin Hammer is a loser.
